The first livestream happened tonight so thank you to everyone that attended, listened and engaging with Helen Fry as she went through her upcoming book "Why I Became an X Troop Commando" - the life and biography of German refugee and Commando Colin Anson.
In this episode we learned about his thoughts and how he felt engaging in armed operations against his fellow Germans, how his father was betrayed and was murdered in Dachau in 1937 and how Colin tracked down the man who betrayed his father after the war.
It was haunting stuff.
The episode will go live on General Release on the launch day of the book on 10th September.
In the mean time you can pre-order the book here: https://uk.bookshop.org/a/10120/9780300279511
